will brant was born and raised in new york city. he fondly recalls sitting in front of a space heater as a child, warming his toes and listening to its hypnotic drone. he receiveda guitar on his 15th birthday and has played ever since.

will brant records music on his tape 4-track and computer using various instruments, electronics, and digital looping. his primary instrument is guitar. in his music, he is interested in exploring the effect of repetition and texture on mentaland emotional states. will has also spent years painting, which informs his video work created to accompany his sounds.
